You can advertise your store and your products using three types of Shopping ads.

The most common Shopping ads are Product Shopping ads. These are created based on the product data that you submit in Google Merchant Center, linked to your ecommerce store. These ads show individual products in search results based on the search terms typed by the user and when a user clicks the ad they are taken directly to the product page.

Showcase Shopping ads let users browse your product range from within Google, and show up if a user types a very broad search term. This enables people to see several of your products at once, which is helpful if they don’t know what they want yet.

Local inventory ads are similar to Product ads, but used by brick and mortar shops rather than ecommerce businesses. They help drive foot traffic to your store by showing searchers that your product is available locally.
