Google Analytics makes it possible to gain access to a huge amount of valuable data, and this can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful eCommerce operation. To access that data, Google Analytics makes available a wide variety of reports, and so you should definitely get to know them and how to use them.
The specific Ecommerce reports to which you will have access varies depending on whether you’ve enabled Standard Ecommerce or Enhanced Ecommerce. If you have Enhanced Ecommerce turned on then you will get the following reports:
- Overview
- Shopping Behavior
- Checkout Behavior
- Product Performance
- Sales Performance
- Product List Performance
Whereas if you have Standard Ecommerce turned on you will get the following reports:
- Overview
- Product Performance
- Sales Performance
- Transactions (mostly equivalent to Sales Performance report from Enhanced Ecommerce)
- Time to Purchase
In the upcoming articles we will discuss each of these reports in turn so that you know what each of them do and how you can use them.
